Sarah Fry, head of membership and marketing at the Institute of Quarrying (IQ), a membership organisation that supports the professional development of people working within the global quarrying and mineral products industry. Her role covers membership growth, member engagement, brand and positioning. Driven by the economic and social impact of non-profit organisations, her career has included working for trade associations, certification bodies and membership organisations. She is a Chartered Marketer that believes in building value by understanding member needs and improving experiences to achieve positive results. Recently Sarah was proud when her team won an industry award for best PR campaign as a result of the IQ’s centenary celebrations. Based in Lichfield where she can enjoy good food, good beer and there’s plenty of lovely spaces to work off the excesses of both!
