Kate Macbeth, Director of Marketing & Digital

Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)

Kate joined the CIOB in November 2017 as Associate Director – Marketing & Digital.  Kate is responsible for the marketing, communications and digital strategies for the CIOB in order to deliver a content rich and highly valued service to CIOB Members in the UK and overseas.

Previously Kate has worked in the UK & Singapore marketing & events industry for over 20 years across a multitude of sectors including: PPA, The Hemming Group, Imark Communications, VNU Exhibitions, Singex, Incisive Media, IIR, UBM and Reed Exhibitions.

Kate drives the leadership team in setting the direction for investments in marketing, content, communication, branding, events and the digital change programmes being developed for CIOB to support the corporate plan.  With her wider team Kate exploits the most effective marketing and digital techniques within CIOB programmes of activity to deliver a first-class member experience.
