Janet Talman, Associate Director of Acquisition

Janet Talman joined CIOB in August 2017 as Head of Membership, Customer Services & Employer Engagement. Janet is responsible for membership at individual and corporate level, business development as well as delivering an excellent customer service to members and employers alike.
Janet has extensive experience working for professional membership bodies and their commercial subsidiaries. Janet previously worked as Executive Commercial Director at the Chartered Institute of Housing, Director of Sales & Service at RIBA Enterprises and as a commercial Consultant for the Federation of Master Builders.
Janet is responsible for delivering on a few key strategic projects for the CIOB including Member Journey and Employer Engagement. She recently set up a new Member and Customer Services team that are transforming the culture of CIOB. Janet is now focused on ways to welcome in the next generation of member through personalisation and an improved value proposition, whilst also working with employers to support the professionalisation of their workforce.
