A former senior lawyer at the Charity Commission, Chris Willis Pickup now advises innovative charities, membership organisations and social ventures on delivering best practice governance and mitigating legal and regulatory risks. Having worked for the leading regulator, Chris understands the risks and governance for charities and non-profits from all angles, and helps clients to navigate the evolving rules and best practices – including the latest regulatory developments in governance, collaboration and digital transformation and legal developments in the duties and responsibilities of members. Chris’ background is as a commercial and risk lawyer, working across regulated sectors at the global law firm, Freshfields.  Clients appreciate his strategic, risk-based approach and clear and thoughtful advice. Chris leads the charities and social ventures team at Taylor Vinters, an international law firm supporting the businesses and non-profits which drive the innovation economy and the entrepreneurs and private wealth that ‎support them.
