In line with UK government guidance we have created a Delegate Code of Conduct to ensure everyone taking part in the conference takes responsibility for their behaviour/actions and to help the MemberWise Network mitigate COVID-19 related risks.

All delegates attending Membership Excellence 2021: agree that they will:

1) Undertake their own personal health risk assessment
2) Follow any relevant guidance on travel and consider planning your journey ahead of the day. E.g. If there are any particularly busy interchanges on route and a delegate wishes to maintain social distancing, he/she may wish to consider an alternative route or set off a little early than usual.
3) Consider taking a voluntary lateral flow test before travelling to the event. Test Kits are free and available via the NHS here…
3) Check for symptoms of COVID-19 before leaving home (e.g. a high temperature, new and persistent cough, or a loss of/change in sense of taste or smell) before travelling to the event). Delegates should be informed that if they, or anyone they live with, have one or more of these symptoms (even if they are mild) they should not attend, and should follow the guidance on testing and self-isolation.
4) Not attend the event if they need to self-isolate, for example because they have been asked to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace, are required to isolate after travel, or because they are displaying any COVID-19 symptoms.
5) Adhere to any relevant COVID-19 safety measures in place at the conference, including observing directions given by stewards/helpers.
6) We encourage all delegates to use the NHS COVID-19 app and scan into the venue to support NHS Test and Trace.

The MemberWise Network has conducted a full risk assessment for this conference and if delegates wish to request a copy of the venue safety protocol please contact info@memberwise.org.uk
