Simon Ayre, Project Manager


Simon worked in the public sector for over 25 years as an IT professional, latterly specialising in Project Management and Business Analysis, and since 2014 has been with UNISON.

He has extensive experience of major systems including Local Authority Benefits, Parking Management, Planning, Housing, and Finance, and more recently has been part of the team managing the MillerTech membership system.

Simon has overseen the introduction and operation of various online services and automated secure payment systems. Closely involved in the introduction and of the DPA and FoIA, he also managed certification to ISO27001.
